After receiving his M.A. from the University of Chicago, Charles Stevenson helped found Web Design Group, Inc. in 1996, a pioneering web development company in Chicago. Web Design Group was an innovator in such online technologies as ShockWave, interactive forums, interactive product roll-outs and live online radio broadcasts. As Chief Operating Officer, he oversaw the growth of the agency to over $3.2 million in annual sales and lead its sale in 2001.

In 2003, Charles Stevenson co-founded Billups Design with Ted Billups. He currently heads operations at Billups Design, as well as oversees account management for several of the agencies’ key clients. In that role, he also contributes to strategic consulting, creative concepting, copywriting and brand integration.

• He’s tough: Completed the Chicago Marathon in 2007 with a torn ACL in his knee
