Hyatt's catering and event service had been losing share to competitors and their online marketing was failing to get traction. With over 120 global properties, Hyatt corporate needed a method to ensure brand consistency, but still allow for customization so each property could showcase its experience and offerings.
Billups Design analysis showed how Hyatt had under-systemized its websites and marketing plans and was diluting the strong international brand to prospective customers. And by prioritizing the key content and services demanded by event planners and decision-makers, Billups Design proposed how the new site system should showcase them more effectively.
Design
Billups Design designed a robust and flexible template system that would allow for local property customization while maintaining global brand consistency. A new online atmosphere allowed each property to communicate their unique physical experience – from in-depth chef and menu information to an immersive range of group and individual accommodations.
To improve decision making for Hyatt's marketing team, Billups Design implemented system-wide Ominiture analytics to track metrics, analyze results and optimize content for improved performance. And to speed time to market, Billups Design created a streamlined production loop between the agency, Hyatt management and its properties.

Billups Design launched the entire 120+ property online system in under 11 months. And the performance checked in right away:
